[Video clicks on, and you haveeee... Valmont! No glowing red eyes, no evil dragony possession voice, apparently Shendu isn't paying attention. He is still wearing the dress though. Because he still hasn't won that battle. He's just sitting at a rather expensive looking mahogany desk, apparently making notes.]

So, If I recall correctly, this month was kicked off by widespread possession by Aztec gods... [Is that a tiny smirk you see on his face? Surely not.] ...followed shortly thereafter by mass sacrifices, while we were in recovery from which, a man went on a killing spree, there was some kind of plague unleashed, and people began... well, conventional logic says they were all seized by some description of madness, but considering the track record here, perhaps they were afflicted by further bouts of possession. [Tee hee, everyone should suffer as I suffer!]

All of this was rounded off by the culprit setting himself on fire, before the lot of you were dropped into a four day marathon of Home and Away, please, do stop me if I'm missing anything here?

[And now he is definitely smirking, because hey, he doesn't remember the last time he could really appreciate a bit of schadenfreude without being reminded that demonic possession basically trumps most other bad things that happen to people. He raises his eyebrows, being deliberately, and pointedly innocent.]

I was merely listing. Honestly, I'm of the opinion that if you not only set yourself on fire, but also take the time to broadcast it, then the least you can expect is to make it onto a couple of lists.

That would be unfair to confirm. There is no set routine around here; no one makes time in their busy schedule for mayhem, and even if they did it would scarcely arrive as planned. You learn to appreciate the lulls when you can, sometimes even how to ignore certain events.

Well, I did imagine that the en masse possessions and killing sprees probably didn't come with a great amount of warning. Still, I suppose it's somewhat heartening to hear that there are lulls, at times.
